Either you know Australia’s “king of pop in the making” (Guardian UK) and love his music, or you soon will.

Brendan Maclean makes his Atlanta debut with an inimitable sound that blends the best parts of Jake Shears, Robyn, and Rufus Wainwright with a touch of LCD Soundsystem, deeply relatable lyrics, bold authenticity, and incredible live performances.

This show, proudly presented by NonsenseATL, WUSSY magazine, and This Free Life supports Brendan’s first full-length album, And the Boyfriends, which debuted at #2 on the Australian iTunes charts in March.

Brendan is joined by special guest Chelsea Shag, a Canadian-born, Atlanta-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Her live show — a colorful blend of R&B, neo-soul, and jazz with Jimi Hendrix-inspired guitar solos and Prince’s pop touch — has garnered her a passionate fan base.

An after-party with DJ sets from Brendan Maclean and Kimber (NonsenseATL cofounder and Creative Loafing’s Best Resident DJ 2018) is included with your ticket.

NonsenseATL has been throwing some of Atlanta’s most inclusive, unique, ridiculous parties and events for more than a decade.

WUSSY covers pop culture, art, politics, and expression from the perspective of the queer community. The Atlanta-based, internationally distributed publication has been curating and promoting the queer arts since 2015.
